US renewables developer SunEdison Inc (NYSE:SUNE) said on Wednesday it has finished building a 6-MW solar power plant in Florida and sold it to its yieldco unit TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP).
The Bella Vista solar park will sell its output, estimated at 14 GWh annually, to local utility Lakeland Electric under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
SunEdison has already completed three other projects for Lakeland Electric and is currently developing two more, it said. The two companies have a master agreement for a total of 24 MW. All six projects will be completed by the end of next year's first quarter.
