to-the-point: Sonnedix adds 2 MW of operating PV to Italian portfolio

September 3 (Renewables Now) - Independent solar power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said today that it has acquired two solar plants with a combined capacity of 2 MW in Italy.

Located in Sicily, the photovoltaic (PV) facilities are operational and were previously owned by ICS Group. With the acquisition, Sonnedix now has a total operating capacity in Italy of 188 MW.

The company plans to continue its growth in the OECD market, in which it currently has 878 MW in operation, some 400 MW under construction and 450 MW in late stage development, it noted.
