to-the-point: SinoHydro, MAN team up for CSP, gas power
Chinese firm Sinohydro Corp has joined hands with a subsidiary of German carmaker Volkswagen (ETR:VOW3) to work together in the sphere of electricity generation from concentrated solar power (CSP) and gas-fired plants.
In a press release on Friday, Sinohydro announced that it has signed at end-April a strategic cooperation agreement with Augsburg-based large diesel engines maker MAN Diesel & Turbo SE. Details were not revealed.
Sinohydro is part of Chinese engineering and construction firm PowerChina, also known as Power Construction Corp of China (SHA:601669).
