to-the-point: Sharp to build 20-MW PV park in Mongolia

December 19 (SeeNews) - Japanese company Sharp Corp (TYO:6753) has agreed to deploy 20 MW of photovoltaic (PV) capacity in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar, said last week.  

Sharp general secretary, Tatsuya Sato, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the project with Deputy Ulaanbaatar Mayor responsible for Green Development and Air Pollution, J Batbayasgalan. According to the report, the solar farm will be located in Baganuur district.
