July 9 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar project developer ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) announced on Monday that its CEO Xianshou Li has stepped down from his post due to personal issues.

The resignation, which covers all other managerial positions occupied by Xianshou, is effective July 8, 2019. Specific details about his decision were not provided in the press statement.

Following the move, ReneSola has appointed Shelley Xu as the new CEO of the company. Shelly was previously the group’s vice president and was overseeing its project development and construction business in the Asia Pacific region. She has been at the company since 2005.
