to-the-point: Nordic Solar Energy buys 14 MW of PV plants in Italy

January 15 (Renewables Now) - International law firm Watson Farley and Williams LLP (WFW) on Monday said it has advised Denmark's Nordic Solar Energy A/S on obtaining 14 MW of photovoltaic (PV) assets in Italy.

The Danish investment firm is acquiring, for an undisclosed amount, a total of 14 rooftop and ground mounted PV plants in the Italian provinces of Pordenone, Genova, Siena, Latina, Roma and Teramo. The seller is local company Sella Investment.

Nordic Solar currently owns and manages a portfolio of 116 MW, including plants located in Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the UK, France, Portugal and Poland.
