Chilean clean energy company Latin America Power Ltda (LAP) has issued USD 412 million (EUR 347.7m) in bonds to refinance two wind farm projects, local media reported earlier in October.
The 16-year noted carry a coupon of 5.35%. The proceeds will refinance the 184.8-MW San Juan wind farm in Atacama and the 46-MW Totoral wind power plant in Chile's north-central IV Coquimbo Region. The bigger park has been operational since December 2016, while the smaller one went live in early 2010.
Santiago-based Carey and Barros, Silva, Varela & Vigil and New York-based Norton Rose Fulbright and Winston & Strawn advised LAP on the issuance.
