to-the-point: Korea's Shinsung starts installing USD 107m of PV arrays in Vietnam

Korea-based Shinsung Group on Friday broke ground on two photovoltaic (PV) systems, valued at VND 2.4 trillion (USD 106.6m/EUR 96.6m), in the Vietnamese Central Highlands region, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

The solar parks will be located in Dak Nong province’s districts of Dak Song and Dak R’lap. Shinsung is the first Korean company to make a direct investment into the region, according to the report.

Shinsung Solar Energy Co Ltd (KRX:011930) has plans for capacities up to 30 MW across VIetnam, The Korea Economic Daily said Monday.
