to-the-point: KEC's solar business secures USD 27m in new Indian orders

September 3 (Renewables Now) - The solar business of Indian infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company KEC International Ltd (BOM:532714) has won new orders worth a total of INR 1.95 billion (USD 27.5m/EUR 23.7m).

The contracts were signed with various private players across the country, KEC said in a bourse statement without giving more details.

“With the new orders in Solar, we are witnessing a gradual revival in the business outlook of the industry," said Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and CEO.

Overall, the group has secured new orders totalling INR 10.1 billion across its businesses.
