November 29 (Renewables Now) - JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) said today it has delivered 300 MW of photovoltaic (PV) panels for a utility-scale demonstration project in China’s Qinghai Province.

More specifically, the Chinese solar products maker has supplied its Tiger panels, which have a 20.4% module efficiency and have a higher yield in real-world conditions, such as partial shading and increased temperatures, as compared to conventional ones. The panels incorporate JinkoSolar’s tiling ribbon technology that boosts their reliability and efficiency.

The Qinghai Ultra High Voltage Demonstration Plant is the first ground-mounted project of its kind globally that will use the Tiger panels, the manufacturer said.
