December 10 (Renewables Now) - US solar farms developer Innovative Solar Systems (ISS) is seeking a buyer for two solar photovoltaic (PV) projects totalling 425 MW, both located in Texas.

The company said on Monday it is offering the assets for immediate acquisition. The larger one is a 300-MW solar project in Texas’ Jones County with a planned commissioning in February 2023. The other scheme envisages the construction of 125-MW solar power plant in Fisher County and is planned to kick off commercial operations in December 2021.

ISS noted that both projects are located close to major transmission infrastructure, offer “lucrative” offtake and economic position in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market.
