September 12 (Renewables Now) - Solar power producer Etrion Corp (TSE:ETX) has received the final instalment of JPY 200 million (USD 1.85m/EUR 1.7m) stemming from an agreement to sell the rights to the 45-MW Kumamoto solar park project in Japan.

The Japan-focused company reached last December an agreement to transfer all the rights to the Kumamoto project to the original developer for a total consideration of JPY 610 million.

The final instalment arrived on Tuesday after certain conditions associated with the permitting of the project were met, Etrion said yesterday.

The Kumamoto project is located in the namesake prefecture on Japan’s Kyushu island.
