June 13 (Renewables Now) - The Paris-based Eiffel Energy Transition Fund said Wednesday it has signed a EUR-30-million-plus (USD 33.9m) bond subscription agreement that will help finance the construction of a 65.5-MW solar portfolio in Poland.

The deal was signed with JSC Atsinaujinancios energetikos investicijos, a unit of the Energy and Infrastructure SME Fund managed by Lords LB Asset Management.

The portfolio in question comprises 66 projects of up to 1 MW that should be completed around mid-2020. The plants are mostly located to the north-west of Warsaw. Each of them emerged as a winner in the Polish renewable energy auction held in November 2018.
