to-the-point: CleanChoice finalises 20 MW of community PV in Minnesota

September 13 (Renewables Now) - CleanChoice Energy has concluded the construction of the plants within a 20-MW community solar portfolio in Minnesota owned and operated by Altus Power America.

The portfolio in question consists of 15 individual solar farms located in  Blue Earth, Dakota, Douglas, Goodhue, McLeod, Meeker, Nicollet, Rice, Stearns, Washington, and Winona counties.

Each of the plants is open for enrollment by Minnesota residents. Subscribers are deemed eligible if they live in the above mentioned counties or the 20 adjacent ones.

CleanChoice Energy has more than 85 MW of solar capacity in Minnesota and says it is the largest residential community solar provider in the state.
