to-the-point: China's Risen Energy partners with asset manager in Australia

May 3 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar module producer Risen Energy Co Ltd (SHE:300118) has teamed up with Providence Asset Group to invest in and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Australia.

Together, the two companies plan to form a partnership with the University of New South Wales and develop Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P), research and development (R&D) and funding projects. They will also work on new energy storage facilities and smart cities.

"This partnership will provide strong financial support for us as we expand beyond the borders of our home country [...],” said Lin Haifeng, chairman of Risen Energy.
