GCL-SI and DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions Sign Strategic Collaboration Agreement At CIIE

November 12 (Renewables Now) - China's GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002506), or GCL-SI, has signed a cooperation agreement with DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions to advance the quality of photovoltaic (PV) products.

The partnership was announced during the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. It concerns the use of the DuPont Tedlar film-based backsheet material in solar panels, though the parties did not give more details in their press release.

Currently, GCL-SI has six manufacturing centres for PV modules around the world and they have a combined production capacity of 6 GW.
