to-the-point: China's GCL-SI agrees 60-MW module partnership with IBC Solar

China’s GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002506) will deliver 60 MW of polycrystalline solar modules by the end of the year as part of a new partnership with German photovoltaic (PV) systems installer IBC Solar.

Also today, GCL-SI held a ceremony to start production of solar modules at its factory in Vietnam. That is where the company will manufacture the panels as part of the new agreement, it said. The first batch of products shipped to IBC Solar will arrive in September.

The German firm has implemented more than 3 GW of PV systems globally to date.
