China Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings Ltd (HKG:0750) is looking to change its name to China Shuifa Singyes Energy Holdings Ltd after Shuifa Energy Group Ltd became a majority shareholder.
Shuifa Energy, through its subsidiary Water Development HK Holdings Co Ltd, signed an agreement to subscribe to almost 1.69 billion newly issues shares in China Singyes Solar in May.
The proposed name change will need to be approved by shareholders at a special general meeting and then to be given the green light by the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda, the company said.
