China-based firm Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings (HKG:0750) expects to win approximately 350 MW of new engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts under governmental power schemes countrywide.
In a statement on Monday, the firm unveiled it had secured roughly 470 MW of permits and approvals from government authorities across Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, as well as Guangdong, Hubei, Shaanxi, Hebei and Yunnan provinces. These photovoltaic (PV) plant projects are expected to yield the EPC deals, it explained.
Singyes Solar makes conventional curtain walls and building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems. It also sells BIPV components, solar thermal collectors and other products.
