August 30 (Renewables Now) - Centrica Energy Trading, a unit of UK’s Centrica plc (LON:CNA), has found an off-taker for the output of a 4-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Germany.

Centrica has sealed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with German energy company Enovos Deutschland SE that will allow the solar farm to run unsubsidised. Enovos will then sell the power to its industrial customers, Centrica said in a press release.

The solar farm, located in Germany’s north-west, started operations in May 2019.
