Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) said today it has concluded the sale of the 10-MW LunarLight solar power plant in Ontario to a subsidiary of BluEarth Renewables Inc.
The photovoltaic (PV) park, located in Belleville, is valued at about CAD 65 million (USD 52.6m/EUR 47.1m). It generates electricity using Canadian Solar's CS6X-300/305P modules.
LunarLight is the fourth and final project the company is selling to BluEarth under a deal unveiled in June 2013. The portfolio has a total capacity of 38.5 MW and Canadian Solar was the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) provider for it.
