Brazil's state-owned energy research firm EPE announced on Thursday the appointment of Jose Mauro Ferreira Coelho as its new substitute president.
Prior to this new appointment, Ferreira Coelho served as EPE's Director of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel Studies. In this area, he has participated actively in the creation of the National Biofuels Policy, known as RenovaBio.
Barral Ferreira has over 25 years of professional experience working in the oil, natural gas and biofuel sectors, the firm noted.
