Thai SPCG says solar power assets not damaged by floods
Oct 26, 2011 - Thai solar power plant developer SPCG Pcl (MAI:SPCG), former Steel Intertech, said that none of its five operating solar power facilities in Thailand have been affected by recent floods.
The company said that all of its projects are built so that they are located higher than the level of flooding, based on historical data.
Furthermore, SPCG said it plans to put on stream four solar power projects in northeastern Thailand in the first quarter of 2012. Three of the projects are located in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima and one is in Khon Kaen. SPCG has 29 projects in the pipeline.
