TerraVerde advises three California school districts on solar projects
Aug 30, 2012 - US independent green energy advisor TerraVerde Renewable Partners yesterday said it had advised three unified school districts (USD) in California on the set-up of solar power systems on their campuses.
The school districts have already completed their solar projects, including an 840-kW system on six Fowler USD campuses, a 910-kW system on three sites of Firebaugh Las-Deltas USD and an 1.11-MW solar system on seven campuses of Golden Valey USD.
The installations are expected to bring total savings in power costs exceeding USD 32 million (EUR 25.5m) over the next 25 years, TerraVerde said.
TerraVerde helped the districts to control and reduce energy costs, and minimise financial risk. Its asset management services will help control the systems in the long-term and ensure the calculated savings over their lifetimes.
