November 9 (Renewables Now) - US renewables yieldco TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP) announced on Thursday it has appointed Michael Tebbutt as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO).

Tebbutt will assume the new position on November 12, succeeding Matthew Berger, who, in turn, will rejoin Brookfield Property Group.

TerraForm Power’s new finance head has been part of Canada-based Brookfield Asset Management Inc (TSE:BAM.A) since 2011. He has held various senior finance positions within the group, including acting as CFO of Brookfield Properties US retail business and Brookfield Infrastructure’s Asia Pacific operations, the press release says.

The yieldco has been part of the Brookfield group since October 2017, when the asset manager completed its acquisition of a 51% stake in it and become TerraForm Power's new sponsor, replacing then-bankrupt SunEdison.
