December 7 (Renewables Now) - Bids will be accepted by February in several tenders for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of five EU-backed solar projects in Turkey, and for a hydropower plant (HPP), water pumps and electric buses.

The exact deadline is February 8, 2019, according to a notice in the EU’s Tenders Electronic Daily (TED). There are two ways to submit applications -- by post or private mail service, and by hand. The tender opening session will take place on February 12.

The solar projects in question will be located in Denizli, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya and Şanlıurfa. For the HPP project, a site visit is possible on January 11 at Esiroğlu Mah. These projects will receive financial support under the EU's Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA II).

The tender notice by the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) in Ankara did not contain capacity details.
