Spain's hydrogen tech start-up H2SITE raises EUR 12m in Series A round
Jun 30, 2022 14:53 CEST(SeeNews) – May 31, 2012 – Swiss electricity provider Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke (SWF:CKWN), or CKW, said today it planned to build a 10 MW solar power plant, expected to be the biggest in Switzerland.
The investment volume is estimated at CHF 25 million (USD 25.9m/EUR 20.8m).
The plant will be located in Inwil, Switzerland and may be connected to the grid as early as 2014 if planning and approval procedures run smoothly. It is expected to produce 10 million KWh of electricity per year, which will cover the average needs of 2,200 households. The project requires an area of about 15 hectare (37.1 acre).
