May 20 (Renewables Now) - Nordic end-to-end servicing and installation provider Bravida Holding AB (STO:BRAV) is entering the Finnish solar power sector by taking control of a local business with a turnover of EUR 9.3 million (USD 10.2m).

More specifically, Sweden-based Bravida is acquiring a 65% stake in Savon Aurinkoenergia Oy, a Kuopio-headquartered firm that sells solar solutions to private customers and companies.

The transaction adds 63 Savon employees to Bravida’s 11,700-strong headcount in the Nordics. This is the seventh acquisition by Bravida in Finland since it entered the market in 2015, it said.

“This acquisition creates a solid foundation for further development of Bravida’s sustainable customer offering,” said Marko Holopainen, head of the Finland Division at Bravida.
