February 12 (Renewables Now) - US residential solar and battery storage company Sunnova Energy International Inc (NYSE:NOVA) on Wednesday said it would provide homeowners with Generac Power Systems Inc's (NYSE:GNRC) energy storage system under a strategic partnership between the two companies.

Sunnova will be the exclusive lease and power purchase agreement (PPA) provider for Generac's PWRcell energy storage system. The company will offer the system with its financing agreement offerings though its approved vendor list.

Sunnova will be the only Generac partner to offer the energy storage system with a 25-year service agreement, the company said in a statement.

“Sunnova’s service offerings combined with Generac’s PWRcell technology and our vast network of installers make energy storage solutions accessible to even more homeowners," said Russ Minick, chief marketing officer at Generac.
