November 14 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar inverters manufacturer Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) announced today a partnership with French industrial group Bouygues Energies & Services for the supply of a turnkey container solution for a 201-MW PV plant in Vietnam.

The solar plant in Ninh Thuan province will be using a 1500-V turnkey container solution, associated supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and PPC. The project is developed by a joint venture between BIM Group and AC Energy, and it is expected to be operational in April 2019, the announcement says.

Sungrow's turnkey solution, the SG3125HV-MV, comprises a PV inverter, transformer and ring main unit (RMU) bundled into a standard 20-foot container. It features a DC/AC ratio up to 1.5 and allows for cost-savings. Because of its smart cooling design, it reaches a peak efficiency of 99% and can perform at 50 degrees Celsius.

Sungrow has solar projects in Vietnam totalling almost 1 GW, including a recently installed 100-MWp plant in Dak Lak province.
