Nov 17, 2011 - US bankrupt solar cell maker SpectraWatt Inc yesterday said it expected to divest its intellectual property assets through a live public auction sale on December 15.
SpectraWatt, which filed for bankruptcy protection in August, was providing research and development activities in solar cell materials development. Its intellectual property assets are related to improving the efficiency of solar cells. The assets are also applicable to the semiconductor, light emitting diode (LED), lasers & photonics, telecommunications /data communications, defence/security and other industries, the company said.
The auction will be held at the offices of Scouler & Company in Dallas, Texas, and via teleconference.
