Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Jun 27-Jul 1)
Jul 01, 2022 17:05 CESTJune 22 (Renewables Now) - Spanish firm Gonvarri Solar Steel said that it has secured a contract to supply its racking system to Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) for a 200-MW solar PV project in Spain.
The Spanish energy company ordered 9,684 pieces of the RackSmarT fixed structures for its Tagus solar farm project in the town of Alcantara, near Portugal. These structures will hold over 307,500 solar panels, Solar Steel said.
The steel products manufacturer says its solar trackers and racks have so far been supplied to over 15 GW of projects around the world.
