Renewables accounted for 59.8% of Spain’s total electricity generation in April, reaching 61.3% when including self-consumption, but slightly down from the high shares maintained throughout <a href="https://renewablesnow.com/news/spains-renewables-share-swells-to-63-8-percent-in-jan-1290707/" target="_blank">February</a> and <a href="https://renewablesnow.com/news/spains-renewables-share-remains-high-at-63-8-percent-in-march-1292452/" target="_blank">March</a>, data from grid operator Red Electrica de Espana (REE) showed on Tuesday.
