Masdar, NPCC to partner on renewable energy projects
May 18, 2022 14:03 CESTApril 21 (Renewables Now) - Spanish forestry and energy group Greenalia SA (BME:GRN) has secured grid access to connect 600 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) power in its home country.
This capacity is divided between one project of 350 MW, another one of 100 MW and three 50-MW schemes. The new solar parks will be constructed in the Spanish regions of Andalusia and the Valencian Community.
According to Greenalia, these areas are rich in solar resources where the annual capacity factor ranges between 22% and 25%, with more than 2,000 hours of production per year.
After securing grid access rights, Greenalia will now move on to the permitting process, it said Monday.
