Spain's Audax obtains permits for 5-MWp PV project in Toledo

Spanish renewable energy and gas company Audax Renovables SA (BME:ADX) announced today that it has secured consent and a construction permit for the 5-MWp El Toconal solar PV project at home.
Construction of the solar farm is set to commence next week, Audax said. The project site is located in the town of Los Navalmorales in Spain’s Toledo province.
The company acquired the El Toconal and another 5-MWp project in Toledo from Energy Pool, a firm that worked for Audax on some PV development, it was announced early this year. Audax then said that the El Toconal plant could be further expanded by up to 10%
Audax currently has 55 MWp of PV projects under construction, El Toconal’s capacity included. The company added that is also building a 66-MW wind farm in Panama, where five of the project’s 20 turbines have already been erected. Audax holds 30% in the Panama project.
