Solar Steel scores 27-MW equipment supply deal in Spain

Spanish manufacturer Gonvarri Solar Steel announced on Thursday that it will supply 27 MW of its single- and dual-row trackers under an order placed by domestic solar projects developer IM2 Energia Solar.
The order includes 516 TracSmart+1V trackers and 50.112 PV modules. The delivery will be made in the municipality of Alange, a press release said on Wednesday.
Further details were not provided.
Founded in 2003, IM2 has developed, built and delivered projects with a combined capacity of 130 MW over the past 16 years. Apart from Spain, the company has an office in Chile where earlier this year it had a 10.8-MW distributed generation (DG) solar farm inaugurated.
