April 22 (Renewables Now) - US commercial solar contractor The Peck Company Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PECK) today announced it has formed a green bond-based investment partnership that will give the company access to project growth capital.

Peck has teamed up with GreenSeed Investors LLC and its affiliate GreenBond Advisors LLC in order to access the green bond segment of the fixed income markets. Through this move, the company will secure capital to execute new solar projects.

In a press statement, Peck explains that the new partnership will acquire, build and own the new project.

“By partnering with GreenBond Advisors and their affiliate companies, Peck will be able to tap the rapidly expanding Green Bond market for dedicated resources to fuel our organic growth and solar project acquisition strategy on a scale that far exceeds Peck’s current balance sheet capability,” said CEO Jeffrey Peck.

New York City-based GreenBond Advisors was established recently to deliver new green bond product designs that facilitate directing risk-adverse investment capital into new green energy infrastructure development.
