Sep 12 (Renewables Now) - Solar Frontier Americas Development has completed the development of and sold two solar project sites in California to Swiss-based asset manager Capital Dynamics.

The projects are located in Fresno County, south of San Joaquin and have a combined capacity of 28 MW direct current (DC), the US solar development unit of Japanese CIS (copper indium diselenide) solar panels supplier Solar Frontier KK said today. They have power purchase agreements (PPAs) in place with Pacific Gas & Electric.

The projects will be built by the buyer, which expects to start work next quarter.

Capital Dynamics recently acquired the 280-MW California Flats solar project from US solar major First Solar Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR). The firm's clean energy infrastructure team currently manages 2,056 MW of clean energy capacity in North America and Europe.
