CIP's new markets fund hits USD-1bn final close
Dec 06, 2019 10:56 CESTJanuary 29 (Renewables Now) - Hong Kong-based independent solar power producer (IPP) Sky Solar Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:SKYS) has replaced its finance head, Sanjay Shrestha, who only acted as such for about six months.
Sky Solar said in a press release that Shrestha has been terminated from his position as chief financial officer and that this role will now be assumed with immediate effect by Julie Zhu. The company did not give a reason for the change.
Shrestha took the CFO position in August 2018, when Andrew Wang left the company to pursue other opportunities.
Sky Solar develops, owns and operates solar parks. As of end-June 2018, it had 203.5 MW of such facilities in its portfolio. The company closed the first half of 2018 with a net profit of USD 8.2 million (EUR 7.2m), up from USD 5.2 million a year back.
