Sinosol to build 20 MW solar plant in Ukraine

(ADPnews) - Nov 16, 2010 - German-Chinese solar technology company Sinosol AG said yesterday that it is working on a 20 MW photovoltaic (PV) system in Ukraine.

The project will be rolled out for local investor under contracts inked in the summer 2010. Over 10 MW of solar components, SMA's inverters and Jinko Solar's modules, have been so far delivered in Crimea, southern Ukraine.

The facility is scheduled for grid-connection in 2011.

For 2011, Sinosol is planning additional projects in the region together with the Ukrainian investor. "In fiscal year 2011, the majority of our turnover will be earned outside of Germany," Raphael Krause, responsible for the PV project business on behalf of the executive board of Sinosol AG, commented.
