Schneider Electric to supply PV Boxes for 23-MW California plant

Oct 14, 2011 - French energy management specialist Schneider Electric (EPA:SU) said yesterday it has received an order to supply solar power conversion substations, or PV Boxes, for a 23-MW solar power plant in Niland, California.

The company said it would deliver 25 PV Boxes with transformers, inverters and combiner boxes in concrete enclosures for the project, which is being developed by SunPeak Solar LLC. Four of the conversion substations will be 0.5 MW PV Boxes and the other 21 will be 1 MW ones.
