Schletter completes mounting of solar plant Zerbst II
(SeeNews) – Aug 22, 2011 - The mounting of the second construction sector of the Zerbst solar plant, situated on a former military airport in Saxony-Anhalt, has been completed, German electrical equipment maker Schletter GmbH announced on Saturday.
The mounting of the two sectors took five weeks, from which four weeks were spent on installing the substructures and modules.
Zerbst I, which was successfully launched at the end of July, has output of 9 MWp and the two sectors will have combined output of 20 MWp. When completed the entire plant is to produce 46 MWp.
The project was initiated by German solar firm Q-Cells (ETR:QCE).
