SAG Solarstrom to deliver 220 MWp of PV modules to Yingli Green Energy
(ADPnews) - Dec 7, 2010 - German photovoltaic (PV) plant maker SAG Solarstrom (ETR:SAG) said last week it agreed to deliver 220 MWp of PV modules by 2013 to a unit of Chinese Yingli Green Energy (NYSE:YGE).
SAG Solarstrom did not disclose the price of the deal with Baoding Tinawei Yingli New Energy Resources Co but said that it is based on the market price.
The order includes a notable volume of SAG Solarstrom's new high-performance Panda modules that reach an efficiency of up to 16.2%, the company said. The rest of the ordered modules are of types that have already been used in projects by SAG Solarstrom.
The contracted modules will be used for projects in the European countries in which SAG Solarstrom has operations.
SAG Solarstrom said it has been collaborating as a system partner with Yingli Green since 2005.
