February 25 (Renewables Now) - Several utilities in Europe and the US, a gold miner, a paper company and major telecoms have recently signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) for wind, solar, battery storage, hydro and tidal energy. We start with the most recent stories.

Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) and French telecom group Orange SA (EPA:ORA) have signed a PPA that will in part support the development of a 328-MW solar project. Under terms of the PPA, the Spanish utility is to supply electricity to Orange’s operations in Spain for 12 years. Read more..
