Nov 5, 2014 - German photovoltaics (PV) firm Roth & Rau AG (ETR:R8R) said Monday it has decided to leave the Frankfurt Stock Exchange due to the low volume of trading in its shares on the bourse and a disappointing costs-to-benefits ratio.
The technology company expects that its stock will stop trading on Frankfurt in six weeks.
Roth & Rau, a units of Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SWF:MBTN), is engaged in the research and development of heterojunction (HJT) and Passivated Emitter Rear Cell (PERC) technologies for the PV sector that allow higher conversion efficiency. It has two divisions that focus on PV wafer and cell manufacturing equipment and on plasma and ion-beam technology. It also has subsidiaries that offer industrial microwave technology, coating systems and other machinery.
