Spanish solar PV developer RIC Energy announced on Tuesday it had received environmental permits for 1,000 MWp worth of solar PV projects in Spain so far this year.
It said its environmental impact statements for 620 MWp of projects had been deemed favourable in recent weeks. These joined the positive response obtained for 380 MWp earlier this year.
The sites vary in size -- from 32 MWp to 150 MWp -- located in the regions of La Rioja, Castile-La Mancha and Castile and Leon.
The company said that it now needs to secure construction permits for them.
