(SeeNews) - Nov 30, 2011 - Canadian Resco Energy Inc said yesterday it had been selected by Sunny Day Energy Inc as the main provider of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the development of more than 5 MW of rooftop solar projects in Ontario's Greater Toronto area.

Sunny Day Energy, a unit of an Ontario-based property management firm, will fund and own the photovoltaic installations, which will be connected to the grid as part of the Ontario Power Authority's feed-in tariff programme. The projects will range from 200 kW to 500 kW and will be constructed over the next two years. Development of the first one has already started.

Sunny Day Energy and Resco Energy will work together to select key components for the systems and design their features.
