Renusol's MetaSole gets ETN certification in France

Jul 4, 2013 - German solar mounting systems maker Renusol GmbH, a unit of Centrosolar Group AG (ETR:C3O), said Tuesday that its MetaSole mounting system has received the Certifie par ETN Ref. BT120019 certification in France.

The certification was given by the Bureau Alpes Controles testing institute.

Thus MetaSole was pointed out not only as an on-roof mounting system but also as a semi-integrated system, which gets EUR 0.17 (USD 0.22) per kWh of electricity fed into the power grid, the company said.

In addition, insurers more readily accept PV plants with certified components, according to Renusol.

MetaSole allows framed photovoltaic modules to be mounted quickly on aluminium and steel trapezoidal sheet metal roofs.
