ReneSola unveils microinverter certifications for major markets

Jul 8, 2013 - Chinese firm ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said Friday it had secured the needed certifications to sell its microinverter Micro Replus in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Denmark and the UK.

Since the start of 2013, the solar module maker has received a number of certificates for the product and expects that by August it would obtain certifications for 11 more European markets. More specifically, ReneSola’s microinverter now has the ETL mark for the US and Canada after tests by UK safety services provider Intertek (LON:ITRK); Certificates of Approval from SAA Approvals for Australia and New Zealand; Attestations of Conformity from TUeV SUeD for Germany; the CE certification for the European Economic Area and a G83 Compliance Document from TUeV SUeD for the UK.

Renesola guided for global Micro Replus sales of some 50,000 in the third quarter of 2013. According to CEO Xianshou Li the certifications it has so far received will help it expand its downstream operations in global markets.
