ReneSola delivers 10 MW of solar modules to Solar Planet
Nov 1, 2012 - Chinese solar products maker ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said Thursday it had delivered over 10 MW of solar modules to commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems developer Solar Planet Power Inc for projects at schools in West Jefferson and Blacklick, Ohio.
The 250 W and 255 W modules were delivered as part of Solar Planet’s USD-200-million (EUR 154m) project to equip over 20 school districts, 10 municipalities, career centres, hospitals, airports and universities in Ohio with solar PV systems.
Solar Planet completed the first round of projects in 45 days.
ReneSola expects to deliver between 2.2 GW and 2.4 GW of solar PV modules and wafers worldwide in 2012.
